Where do I park when visiting Relics to Rhinestones?

We actually have plenty of parking!  You may park on the street in front of our shop, in the parking lot on the side of our building (corner of Patterson & Libbie), across the street in the parking lot where Handicraft Cleaners is located (yes, it' legal). Note that during the summer of 2018; the City of Richmond is making improvements to our block which includes installing lights, benches and trees.  Please observe the towing signs during this time. 

Are you an antique or vintage shop?

Actually we are neither.  Our shop consists of approximately 90% new merchandise but we do sprinkle the shop with one-of-a-kind vintage finds or antique furniture; some of which is purchased globally. Our vintage French laundry baskets and vintage wedding tables sourced from India are good examples. Another great example is a new line of stunning handmade one-of-a-kind jewelry we are carrying that is made from authentic antique coins and vintage chains.  

Are you a consignment store?

We are not.  The only items we have on consignment in our shop is a little bit of local artwork as we try hard to support our local community the best we can. We also do not "rent spaces" to vendors or artists.  

Do you sell used items?

None of the items we have for sale in our shop are "used".  If a product in our shop is not brand new, it is vintage (30+ years old) or antique (75+ years old).  We are not a 'second-hand' shop.

Do you buy vintage or antique items out right?

We do not buy any vintage or antique items out right from the public. The majority of our vintage or antique items are sourced globally. The ones that are not, are furniture pieces we have have gathered from estate sales and have renovated in-house. If you are looking to sell your gently used, vintage or antique items; we recommend two great stores in Richmond which are Revival and Impulse. 

Do you entertain offers on items or negotiate prices?

We are a retail shop and we feel our prices are very fair.  We don't accept "offers" on our merchandise nor negotiate prices.  However, if we have a customer making a major purchase consisting of several pieces of furniture; we may be able to offer some type of a courtesy discount. 

Do you ever sell your displays?

We like to keep our shop looking fresh and sometimes that means changing out our displays (which most are vintage) and those pieces end up getting priced and become part of our store inventory for sale.

Do you have more products in your store than shown on your website?

Yes, lots more! Our website is relatively new and we continue to add new products daily.  Our shop has hundreds of different products and while we may never be able to list on our website everything we carry in our shop; we will do our best.  Right now our goal is to add at least 4 new products daily to our website. 

Is everything on your website available in your store for purchase?

Yes, with the exception of custom orders and/or personalized items in addition to several items we are testing on-line at the moment but may carry in our store in the future.  Our on-line store's business model is not a 'drop shipping' model.  

I want to purchase multiple items that will exceed the $75 free shipping threshold but the items will be going to multiple recipients -- do I still qualify for free shipping?

Unfortunately our on-line shopping cart can only handle purchases being shipped to one address.  If you are purchasing products that need to be shipped to different addresses, you will need to check-out separately for each shipping address.
